Why Google Must Die. What!?!
Just finished reading this interesting article by John C. Dvorak at PC Magazine. After reading the article I felt like I just wasted my time. I am sorry but after reading the article I felt like the author doesn’t have any clue about SEO or how the whole technology works. He couldn’t prove any of his own points nor could he give any real life example. The author sounds like he doesn’t have any idea about Google’s different Data Centers and how that effects search results. Instead he was focusing his arguments on how the results may vary if you’re logged into your Google account. There’s also something called “Personalized Search” and I bet the author doesn’t have any clue about that either.

The author thinks Google can not return relevant results. And he expects something better to come along. Come on! We’ve seen search engines come and go. Which one is the most stable one so far and why? He didn’t answer these questions. And the author didn’t even try to compare Google with any other search engines briefly existed right now. I am saying briefly because of their close-to-nothingn market share.
Expecting of a better one? A recent example would be the Cuil. The search engine that apparently indexed 120 billion web pages on the launch which was triple the amount of Google. But when I searched for their own domain, it returned many sites except their own one. How good is that for a change? I have the answer. Doesn’t worth our time.
Anyway, I won’t get into the full article. If you’ve some spare time you wanted to waste then you can go and read the article at PC Magazine. My opinion is either Mr. Dvorak is less knowledgeable about the SEO and Search Engine’s techniques specially Google or he has some issues with Google which he wanted to express through this article.
Please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts if you’ve read the article. I would to know what you thought about the article.
