Looks like Google Mail team is having some technical problem as GMail is currently down as I write this article. The system doesn’t allow me to log in through the browser though I’ve just received couple of emails through the Push Email on my iPhone. Google Introduces Customized Themes for Gmail
Just logged in to my Gmail account to see a notification on Customized themes for Gmail. Which obviously changes the look and feel of the inside your Gmail account, much like iGoogle. But looks like this features isn’t available to all Gmail users. I’ve couple of Gmail accounts and I can only see one of them has gotten this feature so far. If this feature has been activated for you then you’ll see a notification as soon as you log into your Gmail.
Google Brings Voice & Video Chat
The latest addition to Google Chat is the Voice & Video chat. Now you can video chat with your friends and family right from inside your Gmail. And if you don’t have a webcam then you can just do voice chat with anyone from your contacts list.
To use Google’s browser based free voice and video chat service, all you’ve to do is install a very small plugin and you’ll be all set to go. It works pretty much like iChat or Skype. And it sure will give both iChat and Skype a run for their money.
