Facebook Announces App Verification Program + A Revenue Model
It’s a big news for Facebook but not so big news for all the third party app developers.
Facebook yesterday released the guidelines for their app verification program which pretty much means that third party application developers have to pay $375 every year from now on if they want to be in the verified or rather “elite” developers group to receive some special treatment such as some free advertising credits, special placement in the application directory, increased visibility in the news feed, etc.
