Facebook’s Comments Date Error

December 3, 2008 · Filed Under General, Social Networking

Facebook IconLooks like there’s a glitch on Facebook’s Date & Time system for comments. Just posted a comment to a Group’s wall on Facebook and was surprised to see the publish date of the comment. The time of the comment looks fine, it’s the day that seems to be traveling in time machine. While the date and time should have been current like “at 3:09pm December 3“, the comment day seems to be jumping one day ahead showing “at 3:09pm tomorrow“. Here’s what I am talking about:

Facebook Time Error

Is it how it’s supposed to be working or I am missing something here? Even if the time was published based on the Group’s Country then it would’ve been 5 hours behind mine, NOT tomorrow.  So to me it looks like Facebook’s Group commenting system has a glicth hence it’s travelling ahead of time :) and needs fixing ASAP.

Ha! I have the same problem! It’s happening on my wall-to-wall every now and then. But only, when I write after midnight to a +5.30hours country…:)
Any ideas why the world has not been informed yet on the time glitch surrounding our planet?
