The Evolution of Social Networking
We know how the communication on the internet is changing. In the past few years there have been a massive evolution in the Web 2.0 portal with the innovation of Twitter and such, where people are talking less but communicating more. Also when Facebook and MySpace have pretty much owned the social networking avenues, bloggers aren’t sitting back either. And when Wired.com thinks blogging is just waste of time these days and we certainly don’t agree with it, the following seems to fuel Paul Boutin’s thoughts a bit.

Yahoo! Faces Financial Downfall
Looks like Yahoo! is facing the downturn of US economy. The third quarter disappoints have put Yahoo! into pressure to cut down 10 percent of it’s global employees by the end of the year. And that’s a huge cut for a company that has about 14000 employees. The net profit of the company fell 64%, to $54.3 million, or 4¢ a share. Compared to the same time last year, a 1% increase in gross revenues, to $1.79 billion.
