Mr. Jobs announced that Apple’s $4.6 billion in iPhone revenues in this quarter has placed the company in the third position, right behind the mobile phone market dominators Nokia and Samsung. And this means that Apple is ahead of Sony Ericson, LG, Motorola and last but not least, RIM. Here’s the chart based on companies revenue this quarter.
